Rambha Radhakrishnan, President

Rambha  Radhakrishnan M.D. is retired Family Physician from Cook County Health Services. She volunteers as the Medical Director of Indian American Charitable Foundation Free Health Clinic in Chicago. The Charitable Foundation is a part of Indian American Medical Association Illinois. She has served as the President of Club of Indian Women in Chicago. She has been on the Board of Directors of  Apna Ghar for last eight years.

Sameer Chhabria, Vice President

Sameer Chhabria has served on the Board of Apna Ghar since 2008.  Mr. Chhabria is a native of Lake Forest, Illinois and now resides in Chicago where he has his own law practice. Mr. Chhabria was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1999 and focuses his practice on estate planning and related business planning.

Vasanthi Seeras, Treasurer

Vasanthi Seeras is a licensed Illinois Certified Public Accountant. Her past experience includes working as  an auditor in the accounting firm of Arthur Anderson. She is currently in private practice specializing in accounting for physician practices.  She has previously served on the Board of the Falling Water Home Owners Association in the capacity of Treasurer and on the Board of Club of Indian Women (a non-profit organization) in the capacity of Vice-President.  She has been Director of Board of Apna Ghar for past 2 years and has contributed actively in its fundraising activities.

Surinder Nand, Member-At-Large/Past President

Surinder Nand is Professor of Clinical Psychiatry and Associate Training Director for Psychiatry Residency Program at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She served as the Director of Mental Health at the Jesse Brown V.A. Hospital in Chicago. She is the Immediate Past President of the Indo American Psychiatric Association and also served as the President of Illinois Psychiatric Society which is the state branch of the American Psychiatric Association. She has been on the Board of Directors of Apna Ghar for past nine years.
