Junior Board

The Junior Board provides additional support to the Senior Board of Apna Ghar in its aim to serve the South Asian Community. Its main function is to expand awareness of Apna Ghar’s mission to the South Asian youth in the South Asian community.

Chairs:

Ajay Chokshi has served the Apna Ghar Junior Board for the past four years and as co-chair for the past two. He is also active with the Chicago Youth Programs, a non-profit organization focused on education/mentorship of at-risk youth. Ajay is an executive with a Fortune 500 company and also has nine years of experience as a management consultant.

Omar Rabbani has been a member of the Apna Ghar Junior Board for the past four years, and currently serves as the co-chair. He is also an active volunteer with the Ronald McDonald House charities. Omar is currently a financial analyst for a supply chain and promotional management company. He has a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
